A Canadian reader, who toughed it out on Bougainville during the early construction days, on TUE 16 emailed this photo of a "SEIKO BELL-MATIC 17 Jewels" wristwatch which he had purchased at the Kieta shop of Green & Company.
Half a century later, it's still working! Pity the mine isn't!
